I wish to acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands across this country we call Australia and pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging. I live on Bundjalung Country of the Arakwal People. I am privileged to work across many countries including Eora, Biripi, Bundjalung, Wiradjuri, Barkindji and Kulin.

These are, and always will be Aboriginal Lands.

I also acknowledge my responsibility to better embed Indigenous traditional knowledge within the field of Therapeutic Horticulture, to decolonise predominant theories used in the field, to remain aware of and challenge learned and subconscious racism, and to privilege the voices of Indigenous traditional Elders and their communities within my projects.
